How sobriety and spirituality meet in AA
AA is a life and death organization. To live a happy, joyous and free life I was told to go to AA while attending a treatment facility in 1990. As I left, a softcover Big Book and Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions were handed to me, along with a $9,500 bill! I was also told I had to go to lots of AA meetings—until I wanted to go. The treatment facility had taken me on the equivalent of a 28 day sobriety cruise.
