Even in a pandemic, she got sober, connected, traveled the world and made a host of new friends

I found myself standing in a touring caravan on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland. I had pushed my family away so I could isolate. After 34 years of drinking and 14 years in and out of AA, I finally realized I was completely powerless, and I did not know what to do. I held my head in sheer panic and fear and asked God to tell me.
