In our area, we help members. We have a service called “Meetings to Go” that provides AA volunteers to bring meetings to homes or hospitals for those who cannot get to meetings.
I was born in the Philippines in 1969 and I moved to the United States in 1974. I am mixed race, Filipino and black, and I contracted polio when I was 18 months old. So growing up required me to use a wheelchair or leg braces to get around.
