How sweet the sound
Peter set out on a search for Dr. Bob’s house. Amazed, he ascended the stairs of the house up to the porch where he cried uncontrollably.
I was leading a literature meeting this past Saturday, and we were reading through the AA book Dr. Bob and the Good Oldtimers: A Biography, with Recollections of Early A.A. in the Midwest. During introductions at the meeting, a young man named Peter (not his real name) told the group he was visiting New Jersey from Chicago.
