His relapse took the good life away from him. He got serious about sobriety in a jail cell

Over ten years ago, I was a confused man who didn't know which way was up or down. Or I should say I thought I knew, but the reality is I was lost. I had a very good friend who was always trying to get me to do right. She told me that if I didn’t get it together and stop doing (as she calls it) “stuff that don’t make sense," she was going to call the police on me and hope that would put me back on track to living a real life.
