At five years sober, I took a job traveling the world for a major aviation company. I was living my childhood dream of travel and adventure, seeing the world through my new pair of “glasses.” In December of 2016, my sober journey brought me to Guangzhou, China. I had previously lived and worked in places like Mexico City, Germany and France.
