Is It True?

I have been hearing in meetings that before you share you should always ask yourself three questions: Is it true? Is it nice? Is it necessary? I am not sure this exact qualification for speaking is found in our literature anywhere, but I do understand the point being expressed. I can see the benefit of this moment of pause. It might save me from embarrassment, save me from being dishonest and stop me from being unkind toward my fellow AAs.
