She drank the other pilots under the table and out-performed them in the sky. How could she be an alcoholic?
I’m not an alcoholic; I’m in the military. That’s what I thought. I had many reasons. I only drank a few days a week, not every day. And I definitely earned a drink after flying into Afghanistan and Iraq. Also, I drank less than my squadron mates, who might well be alcoholics.
