For years she searched for something bigger and still felt empty, until AA turned on a light
I was raised a Baptist and my mother was very religious. She made donations to the church and televangelists frequently. I remember one winter when she donated our heating-oil money. Our apartment was freezing that Connecticut winter. That started my resentment against religion.
