My Home Group

I heard a saying once which went: “You’ll know when you’ve found your home group because everything will seem perfect.” I found my home group at the very first meeting of AA I ever attended. Before I got out of the car, I told myself that maybe I didn’t need AA. That maybe I could do this by myself. But I knew deep inside that I was beaten down to nothing and that I needed help.
