Trapped in Rehab

Right now, it’s 6:23 a.m. and I’m sitting in a tent in the wintry Appalachian Mountains reading a book. It’s a book that I’d read a year ago — almost to the day. The last time I was reading this, I was stuck in rehab, where I’d rightfully earned myself a seat. My life was in tatters and I was a complete mess both mentally and physically. I’d hurt the people that I love more than words can describe, almost to a point of no return. I was trapped in rehab. I wasn’t wanted at home and quite frankly, I wasn’t of any use to anyone or myself, either
