Can’t Take This Away
He came to put down the liquor, but the love and shares of the heart made him stay
I attended my first AA meeting in 2004. I have not had a drink since then. I had attempted to quit drinking hundreds of times before this date, but never successfully. By the end, I had become a daily drinker and things were getting very tense at home.
