Come one Come all!

In 1987, our local clubhouse board was seeking ideas to raise funds. I had held many rummage sales over the years and suggested we have one. At the time I had about two years of sobriety. The board members thought it was a good idea and we started to plan. During the discussion, the oldest board member, who had about 12 years of sobriety, said we ought to observe Traditions Seven and Eight, since our clubhouse guidelines followed our AA Traditions. He thought it best to hold the sale inside the clubhouse, making it available to members of AA only, thereby following those two Traditions.
