Growing Stronger
A California sponsorship program is taking flight, helping more and more incarcerated members each day
While I’ve been an active member of the NorCal (Northern California) AA Hospitals & Institutions Committee since 1987 and have had more remarkable moments of clarity and insight around that service commitment than I can recount, my truly aha moment arrived in 2018. I was chair of that committee then and we made a breakthrough to simplify the process of getting a sponsorship program into the prisons [read Karen’s June 2020 Grapevine story “Planting Seeds”].
