A Moment of Stillness

Thanks to AA, he has a way to find serenity in here, something he once thought impossible

There I was, sitting in my cell in the Western Missouri Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri. On my cell wall was a collage I had made. It included images of muscle cars, wolves and positive quotes. I was staring blankly at the collage, while inside I was being consumed by feelings of guilt and remorse from my past life and behavior. How could I have allowed myself to fail as a father, son and brother?
