My Sobriety Adventure

I grew up watching old black & white movies from the 30’s and 40’s on TV. I was always attracted to the suave, sophisticated scenes in the glittering nightclubs frequented by Cary Grant, Fred Astaire and the like. When I set up housekeeping on my own, that was the kind of drinker I wanted to be. I had crystal decanters and every type of stemware you could possibly need. I also became something of a wine snob and would order for my parents and siblings when the family went out to dinner.
