I was brought up in a certain religion for many years. I do not mention what religion it is since that would be an “outside issue.” When I got to the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous, I really didn’t want to hear anything about God. I thought maybe you all needed God, but I would be fine if I just stopped drinking. I soon learned otherwise.
