How I Came To Love The Grapevine

When I was three years sober I was a new GSR attending an area service meeting. During the break we were encouraged to rotate through the different service committee tables and choose one to serve on during our rotation. I wasn’t really sure what committee work entailed, but I ended up at the Grapevine table because there was no one in line there. So the committee became me and the chairperson. Our regional service assembly meeting, PRAASA, was right around the corner and the first thing the chair told me was that she wasn’t attending and asked if I would attend the PRAASA Grapevine workshop and take notes.
