Thank God for computers. They saved my life. These online New Jersey members walked me through my fears and loneliness. I have a host of new friends now.
It was March 2020 when the pandemic hit. I had just come home from a physical rehab facility here in Florida. I was alone and scared and unaware of COVID-19. I didn’t know if my pacemaker would quit again and I’d pass out and injure myself. But I had 45 years of sobriety and a full box of AA tools.
