Mother’s Day Surprise
Her marriage had ended, her kids were gone and that dreaded day had finally come. What next?
It’s a familiar AA story. Boy meets girl on AA campus and marriage ensues. My husband and I seemed to be living on a solid foundation. We had children, a house, thriving careers, pension plans, healthcare, and were doing positive work in our community. I fooled myself into believing we were rehabilitated drunks living the sober dream.
