Tough Crowd
A member in Oregon fondly remembers the old geezers at his home group who liked to bark orders. Luckily, he grabbed onto Darrell
Sometime in my first couple of weeks sober in 1985, I wandered into the Men’s Monday Night Step meeting. A dozen or so guys—mostly crusty, rusty geezers sitting around a table with copies of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions book. They seemed like AA fundamentalists.
