All in at 62

After years of marriage, college, jobs, children and lots of drinking, it was time to learn how to live

I grew up in an era when drinking was the social norm. I lived in a small town and drinking was our main source of entertainment. I got drunk for the first time when I was 14. It was fun. I didn’t get sick, or mean or melancholy. I didn’t have a hangover, and I didn’t black out. So you can see why I would choose drinking as my “career.” I was extremely shy and thought I had found the perfect social lubricant to feel comfortable in social situations.
