With a little too much energy, a newcomer hits the road to avoid his Ninth Step. Boy, was he in for an adventure!
No kidding. There I was, just four months sober. I had left my midnight home group and gone home, where I packed up my car. I left a note for my grandmother so she wouldn’t worry, and I started driving.
