A Whole New Life
Not only has AA transformed how she works and lives, but she’s learned to trust and love the journey
One mile high and 3,875 days from a drink, I sat in the Denver airport reading a story from my Grapevine app about an impromptu meeting of alcoholics in an airport. And I was having a spiritual experience. For me, an experience like that often starts with tears welling up, a complete sense of relaxation and a connection to my Higher Power through fellows in AA, even ones whom I haven’t yet met. But I didn’t get to this place overnight.
