A drunk teacher flunks out again and again, then miraculously scores two As

I was the responsible, first-born child who always strived to please my parents. I was a straight-A student (for the most part), got a part-time job at 14 and was a dedicated student of Tae Kwon Do. I was so focused on everything that I didn’t take my first drink until college. I went to a couple of parties my freshman year and carried a beer around pretending to drink. My father was an alcoholic and I was determined not to be like him.
