When I got to AA, I was convinced that nothing in life would ever be fun again. I was just 24. Sure, I saw people laughing and enjoying life in the rooms, but that wasn’t for me. Everything that I enjoyed had gotten me into trouble. If there was one thing I came into AA for, it was to stay out of trouble.
