The writer of “One Seder at a Time” was a newcomer and super nervous about his first Passover because of all the wine drinking. Luckily, oldtimers at his meetings helped him with some safe sober tips to get through social events. His first Seder was tricky, but fortunately social affairs got a lot easier the longer he stayed sober. Today he says he doesn’t miss “the hangovers, the headaches and all the apologies.”
