Fifth Anniversary Story

I had marbles sent to me following my fifth year AA anniversary on May 20, 2021. I used to think this marble thing was a hokey AA practice—symbolizing getting all my marbles back. But my attitude and perspective have changed. Now, I am humbled. I look at the bag of marbles amazed that for the past five years, one day at a time, I have not found it necessary to pick up a drink.
