A Good Cleaning

When we get to Step Four, we’re told to do a personal inventory. And to be brutally honest, it’s enough to scare anyone. We’re supposed to write out our past history of good and bad traits, including all of our lying and cheating and people that we’ve hurt. We unload our baggage, look at long-held resentments, reveal hidden feelings and come clean on all the wrongs that we’ve done.
