Drinking deaths increasing

More and more people are drinking themselves to death. Statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that about 178,000 people died from excessive alcohol use in the United States between 2020 and 2021. That’s an almost 30% increase compared with the previous estimate four years earlier.
