Accepting the Road Ahead

Miracles have been happening in my life and they started happening on October 9, 1986. That’s the day I admitted I was an alcoholic and needed help. I had been confronted about my drinking on the job and was sent home from work. I was told to contact the company’s human resources office. They recommended I go into treatment and start attending AA. I did what was suggested and went to my first meeting the next day. Miracle No. 1 had just occurred.
