Staying sane and sober through difficult times can be a challenge. This month, members show how they reach out for help, dive into the Fellowship and get closer to their Higher Power. In the touching story “When Grief Comes,” a longtimer gets through the loss of his wife by becoming a beginner again. A member in New York deals with hearing loss right after she signs up to be accessibilities chair. Boy, is she “In the Right Place.” And a hurricane destroys a member’s town but not her connection to HP and her AA fellows in the powerful story “Faith & Flashlights.”
