From Religious to Spiritual

Our upbringing was intensely religious. There was always church. Parochial schools, weekly Mass, crosses over every bed. I was a serious pray-er. I had an altar in my room. I sent prayers up for everything—lost items, the poor, other countries who "needed" our prayers. I knew the rosary from beginning to end.
