Still Willing To Go To Any Lengths?

As an alcoholic, I have a tendency to seek the path of least resistance.  I am always looking for an easy approach to life.  This is one of the reasons why I loved alcohol.  Rather than feeling my feelings, taking care of responsibilities and accepting challenges, I resorted to drinking myself into oblivion and convincing myself that I didn’t care about the consequences.  I would blow off commitments, miss obligations and forego opportunities in a heartbeat as long as there was alcohol around to numb my awareness of reality.
