A Dream Come True
This sober high-flying pilot has found a loving fellowship in AA meetings all over the world
Before I came into AA in 2002, I had been to three countries. As of today, I’ve been to 64. This is a dream come true for me. While I was a slave to alcohol, I spoke of traveling the world and living an adventurous life. Of course, none of those dreams materialized as I was too busy drinking and caught up in the insanity that goes with it. I hit my bottom and was emotionally, mentally and spiritually bankrupt when I came into the rooms of AA. I surrendered and started doing what was suggested.
