There’s nothing like a new year to look back and see how far we’ve come in our sober journey. This month we feature stories about emotional sobriety and how different our lives are today than when we were drinking. In the story “Little Surrenders,” a member keeps things simple. For him, a good deed done each day is a spiritual experience. In “Tending My Garden,” a woman is reminded as she plants her flowers that, just as in life, she’s not in charge. And a dad getting pummeled by finances and life’s challenges finds a way to stay sane and grateful in the beautiful story “Doing Just Fine.”
