AA Works

I was born and raised in an alcoholic home. My father was a mean drunk and ensured that you didn’t speak out of line or tell any other people what was going on with your family. (I found this out when he threatened my life.) I started drinking whiskey straight at the age of 14 because there was an abundance of it available to me. I was good at lying and hurting others to get what I wanted. At the age of 64 I can now say that I was an alcoholic before I turned 18.
