Despite all the prison chaos and fear, his sponsor’s suggestion to meditate and pray led to peace and helping others

In June of 2014 I was arrested for aggravated DUI in Arizona. it was not my first. This time, however, it was likely that I would be looking at years in prison. Immediately, I became paralyzed with fear and began to consume lethal quantities of alcohol. Within a week, I found myself homeless on the streets of Tempe in the searing 116-degree heat.
