Gratitude for the Manhattan meeting that changed her life
"My name is Nancy and I'm an alcoholic." The weight of the world fell off my shoulders once I uttered those words at my first AA meeting. The meeting was held at a townhouse just two blocks from where I lived in Manhattan. The townhouse was called "The Mustard Seed." It was September 9, 1982.
