Adding a second “o” to God made all the difference
One spring when our group again covered the Third Step, my sponsor mentioned that I had some work to do regarding the Third. Inconceivable! The audacity! I deal with illness within my family on a daily basis. There have been numerous 911 calls in our family for medical assistance, my parents are elderly, my wife has been assaulted and has had part of her colon removed. So why would I need more work when it comes to “turning our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him”?
