A grandmother shares about her chaotic childhood, her descent into alcoholism and her spiritual life today

I was born and raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I learned about the consequences of alcoholism early on through my father, but that didn’t stop me from my own downward spiral. Rubbing my injured neck, I learned alcohol hurt.
