Your Life Will Get Better

In August 2024 I will have been sober for 54 years. I started drinking as a teenager, not unusual. Every time I drank I got drunk and usually threw up. After a while I developed a tolerance and very seldom got sick. I would drink until I blacked out and then passed out. I have at least five DUI’s. I’ve gone without my driver’s license for 30 days, twice for 90 days, once for three years. I also spent the night in several different jails, even when I wasn’t driving, as result of my drinking.
