Leap of Faith
A frightening race to get down the mountain took every Step he had in him. Turns out he wasn’t alone
I made it to the summit, climbing alone to 12,300 feet on that bright spring day. There were no people to hear my humble prayer of gratitude, no one saw my struggle, no one congratulated me for the achievement. I slowly turned a full circle to take in the majesty of dozens of peaks of this high Sierra Mountain range. I paused and let my breathing settle and studied the beautiful landscape around me.
