I can’t begin to count the number of times I breezed through the Serenity Prayer essentially nodding to the idea of acceptance and finding comfort in taking a few seconds to not think about whatever the day had presented. My wife telling the same story for the 10th time? Grant me the serenity. The credit card company putting me on hold for 50 minutes? Grant me the serenity.
