Working with local communities, PI committees and the military Area 42 is helping to carry the message of AA in Nevada
Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC) became a distinct AA entity in 1970 as an outgrowth of the Public Information Committee (PI). But sharing the AA message with professionals really started long before that. Bill W. and Dr. Bob tirelessly sought out professionals, asking to talk to hopeless alcoholics to share their newfound “booze cure.” Fast forwarding to today, we CPCers try our best to follow in the footsteps of our cofounders.
