You Never Know

How would he ever find love always hanging out with AAs in coffee shops? Service to the rescue!

I was fortunate that when I arrived in Medicine Hat, Alberta, in 1985, a vibrant group of individuals were involved in AA general service. At that time, we were told to never say no when asked to be of service, whether that meant going on a Twelfth Step call, presenting at local high schools, helping with Bridging the Gap projects or representing the group at service meetings (intergroup, district or a roundup).
