After watching a little too much news, he knew right where to go. Thank you, AA Traditions!

I had done it again—stayed up way too late watching a presidential debate and the roundtable chatter afterward. I woke up the next morning with hundreds of bedevilments buzzing through what was left of my brain, projecting increasingly grim futures for myself, my family, the world. I was in extreme sky-is-falling mode, about as far from serenity as I had been since crawling into AA with the marks of handcuffs still on my wrists.
