I came into AA as an agnostic—and I was more than willing to prove it, even though I didn’t fully understand what an agnostic was. I would have even been willing to resort to fisticuffs to settle the matter if necessary. I was an angry young man. But I also knew something was wrong in my life, and maybe it was time to address that too.
