Sometimes hard, always worth it, general service has become the most rewarding journey of her life

When I first heard about the upside-down triangle in AA, I didn’t fully grasp what it meant. I was new to general service, still figuring out acronyms like GSR and DCMC. Now, after having the privilege to serve as a GSR, DCMC, roundup chair, panel member, alternate delegate and delegate, I’ve learned that the triangle isn’t just a structure. It’s been a spiritual journey, one that has challenged me, changed me and grounded me more deeply in the principles of our program.
