A Happy Father’s Day
He was separated from his family, his dad had just died, he had two months sober and was living alone. Happy what?
In May of 1990 my dad died unexpectedly. He was 77, and I was 38 with about two months sober. When Father’s Day came around the following month I had a rough time. I was living alone, separated from my soon-to-be ex-wife and my two stepsons, and miles away from my other family members. I was really feeling sorry for myself.
